About the event
Tallinn is a city with a rich LGBT+ history, which has only been investigated in more detail in the last few years.
LGBT+ history researcher Taavi Koppel will take you on a journey to Old Town and tell stories about Tallinn's queer communities over the past 30 years.
According to Baltic Pride, the focus is community activism.
Among other things, the following burning questions will be answered: Where exactly were the legendary sauna street gay clubs located? How did Estonia's first gay parade go in 2004? How and where did the fishing take place in the center of Tallinn at the time of the Soviet Union. What is the subject of this picture of men kissing in Old Town?
The leisurely 2 km long tour lasts a little over an hour and is free for participants.
The tour starts in the old town at Viru Gates and ends at the Town Hall square.
The tour will be held in Estonian.
